DESCRIPTION:Theme: Sharing Faith in our 21st-Century World \nHost: Lumen Fidei \nSr. Pila Fandos will be speaking about how to evangelize in the world we live in\, focusing on the fact that it is a “connected” world\, a stressed-out world\, and an intercultural world. All these aspects have good and not so good features that are a help or a hindrance for us when we want to share our faith. \nSchedule:\n7:30 Mass (St. Clare Church upper church)\n8:10 Dinner\n9:00 Talk and Q&A (St. Clare Church Parish Hall – North Hall) \nSr. Pilar Fandos was born in Majorca\, a small island in Spain. Prior to becoming a sister\, she worked for several years and was active in community service\, particularly with the youth (she was assigned to the youth as she was the only one who “had enough energy”!). She heard God’s call to give herself completely to Him and took her Perpetual Vows with the Verbum Dei Mission Fraternity in April 27\, 2013 in Taiwan. \nShe currently lives in San Francisco and leads prayer and Bible studies in English\, Spanish\, AND Chinese! Fun fact: She helped provide spiritual direction at CACCLC in 2015 and has since helped mentor and provide guidance to several campers throughout the year. She is passionate about helping others grow in their faith and help spread God’s love. \n
