祈祷是我们与天主沟通的方式

教会的祈祷生活，通常有三个主要的表达方式：口祷、默想和心祷。三者的共通之处，是收敛心神。祈祷是天主与人在基督内结盟的关系。它是天主的行动，也是人的行动；它发自圣神，也出自信友们与降生成人的天主圣子的人性意愿相结合，而完全指向天主圣父。

祈祷是举心归向天主，同天主说话，虔诚的表达信友的心意、或赞颂、或感谢、或忏悔、或求助。因为我们相信天主是我们的慈父，是以儿女之情向天主慈父表达我们的心意。

祈祷的泉源

圣经、圣传与信望爱三德是祈祷的泉源。圣经是天主的圣言，信友读圣经即是听天主说话并进入祈祷的境界。基督和圣神的使命即是在教会的圣事礼仪中宣报，并实现救恩的奥蹟到人的心中，引人祈祷；信友为进入祈祷，必须对天主先怀有信望爱三德。

  • The Sign of the Cross 圣号经： (是教会与信友向天主圣三的名唿求。)

    因父，及子，及圣神之名，阿们。
    In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

  • Apostles Creed 信经： (是整个教会和基督徒对信仰的宣认。)

    （文言文）: 我信全能者天主圣父，化成天地。我信唯一圣子、耶稣基利斯督我等主。我信其因圣神降孕，生于玛利亚之童身。我信其受难，于般雀比辣多居官时，被钉十字架，死而乃瘗。我信其降地狱，第三日自死者中復活。我信其升天，坐于全能者天主圣父之右。我信其日后从彼而来，审判生死者。我信圣神，我信有圣而公教会，诸圣相通功。我信罪之赦。我信肉身之復活。我信常生。阿门。

    （白话文）: 我信全能的天主父，天地万物的创造者。我信父的唯一子，我们的主耶稣基督。我信祂因圣神降孕，由童贞玛利亚诞生。我信祂在比拉多执政时蒙难，被钉在十字架上，死而安葬。我信祂下降阴府，第三日从死者中復活。我信祂升了天，坐在全能天主父的右边。我信祂要从天降来，审判生者死者。我信圣神。我信圣而公教会，诸圣的相通。我信罪过的赦免。我信肉身的復活，我信永恆的生命。阿们。

    I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
    I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
    I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

  • The Lord Prayer 天主经： (又称主祷文，是主耶稣亲自教门徒祈祷的经文。)

    （文言文）: 在天我等父者，我等愿尔名见圣，尔国临格，尔旨承行于地，如于天焉。我等望尔，今日与我，我日用粮，而免我债，如我亦免负我债者，又不我许陷于诱惑，乃求我于凶恶。阿门。

    （白话文）: 我们的天父，愿祢的名受显扬，愿祢的国来临；愿祢的旨意奉行在人间，如同在天上。求祢今天赏给我们日用的食粮；求祢宽恕我们的罪过，如同我们宽恕别人一样；不要让我们陷于诱惑；但救我们免于兇恶。阿们。

    Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

  • Hail Mary 圣母经： (前一段是天使和圣母的表姊向圣母说的话，后一段是教会向圣母祈求。)

    (文言文): 万福玛利亚，满被圣宠者，主与尔偕焉； 女中尔为赞美，尔胎子耶稣并为赞美。 天主圣母玛利亚，为我等罪人，今祈天主，及我等死候。 阿门。

    (白话文): 万福玛利亚，妳充满圣宠，主与妳同在，妳在妇女中受赞颂，妳的亲子耶稣同受赞颂。 天主圣母玛利亚，求妳现在和我们临终时，为我们罪人祈求天主。 阿们。

    Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

  • The Glory Be 圣三光荣颂： (是教会向天主圣三的赞颂。)

    愿光荣归于父、及子及圣神。起初如何，今日亦然，直到永远。阿们。

    Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
