(恭读厄则克耳先知书 the Book of Prophet Ezekiel 34 : 11一12, 15一17)
上主天主这样说：「看哪！我要亲自去寻找我的羊，我要亲自照顾我的羊。就像牧人在羊群失散的那一天，怎样去寻找自己的羊，我也要怎样寻找我的羊；有些羊在阴云和黑暗的日子四散到各处，我要把牠们救回来。我要亲自牧放我的羊，亲自使牠们卧下休息。上主天主说：失落的，我要寻找；迷路的，我要领回；受伤的，我要包扎；病弱的，我要治疗；肥胖和强壮的，我要看守；我要按正义牧放牠们。上主天主说：我的羊群哪！关于你们，上主天主这样说：看哪！我要在羊与羊之间，绵羊与山羊之间，施行审判。」

Thus says the Lord GOD: I myself will look after and tend my sheep. As a shepherd tends his flock when he finds himself among his scattered sheep, so will I tend my sheep. I will rescue them from every place where they were scattered when it was cloudy and dark. I myself will pasture my sheep; I myself will give them rest, says the Lord GOD. The lost I will seek out, the strayed I will bring back, the injured I will bind up, the sick I will heal, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy, shepherding them rightly. As for you, my sheep, says the Lord GOD, I will judge between one sheep and another, between rams and goats. —— The Word of the Lord.

【答】上主是我的牧者， 我实在一无所缺。

- 上主是我的牧者, 我实在一无所缺。祂使我憩息在翠绿的草地上。
- 祂领我近幽静溪水旁。使我精神振奋, 体力恢復; 为了光荣祂的名, 祂领我踏上正途。
- 在我敌人面前, 祢为我摆设筵席; 在我的头上傅油, 使我的杯爵满溢。
- 在我一生岁月里, 常沐浴祢恩宠幸福中; 在我有生之年, 我要常住在上主的殿里。

(圣保禄宗徒致格林多人前书 the first letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians 15 : 20——26, 28)
弟兄们：基督实在从死人中復活了，祂是死人中第一位復活的。因为死亡是因一个人而来的，死者的復活也是因一个人而来的；就如在亚当内众人都死了，照样，在基督内众人也都要復活；不过各人要依照自己的次序：首先是基督，然后是那些在基督再来时属于祂的人，最后才是结局；那时，基督将消灭一切率领者，掌权者和大能者，并把王权交给天主父。因为基督必须为王，直到祂把所有仇敌屈伏在祂的脚下。那最后被毁灭的仇敌便是死亡。万物都归属在圣子权下以后，圣子自己也要屈伏于那使万物归服祂的父，使天主在万有之中，超越万有，统御万有。 —— 上主的圣言
Brothers and sisters: Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through man, the resurrection of the dead came also through man. For just as in Adam all die, so too in Christ shall all be brought to life, but each one in proper order: Christ the first fruits; then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ; then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has destroyed every sovereignty and every authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. When everything is subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all. —— The Word of the Lord.

那时候，耶稣对门徒们说：「当人子在光荣中、和众天使一同降来的时候，祂要坐在光荣的宝座上，万民都要聚集在祂面前； 祂要把他们彼此分开，好像牧人分开绵羊和山羊一样：把绵羊放在右边，山羊放在左边。那时候，君王要对那些在祂右边的人说：『我父所降福的人哪，你们来承受从创世以来就给你们预备好的国度吧！因为我饿了，你们给我吃的；我渴了，你们给我喝的；我无家可归，你们收留我；我衣不蔽体，你们给我穿的；我病了，你们看顾我；我坐牢，你们来探望我。』那时，义人回答祂说：『主啊！我们什么时候看见祢飢饿，而给了祢吃的，或口渴而给了祢喝的呢？ 我们什么时候见祢无家可归，而收留了祢，或衣不蔽体而给了祢穿的呢？我们什么时候见祢生病，或坐牢，而来探望过祢呢？』君王便回答他们说：『我实在告诉你们：凡是你们对我最小一个兄弟所做的，就是对我做的。』」然后祂又对那些在左边的人说：『你们这些可咒骂的人哪，离开我，到那给魔鬼和牠的使者所预备的永火里去吧！因为我饿了，你们没有给我吃的；我渴了，你们没有给我喝的；我无家可归，你们没有收留我；我衣不蔽体，你们没有给我穿的； 我生病或坐牢，你们没有来探望我。』那时，他们也要回答说：『主啊！我们什么时候见祢飢饿，或口渴，或无家可归，或衣不蔽体，或有病，或坐牢，而没有服侍祢呢？』君王回答他们说：『我实在告诉你们：你们没有给最微小的一个人做这些事，便是没有给我做。』这些不义的人要进入永罚，而那些义人却要进入永生。」 —— 基督的福音
Jesus said to his disciples: “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’ And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’ Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’ He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” —— The Gospel of the Lord.
