读经一
（伯多禄和若望给他们覆手，他们就领受了圣神。）
(恭读宗徒大事录 8:5-8,14-17)
那时候，斐理伯下到撒玛黎雅城，给众人宣讲基督。群众留意斐理伯所讲的话，都同心合意地听教，并看见他所行的奇蹟：有许多附了邪魔的人，邪魔从他们身上，大声喊叫着离开了，又有许多瘫痪的人和跛子，也被医好了；为此，城里的人皆大欢喜。在耶路撒冷的宗徒，听说撒玛黎雅接受了天主的圣道，便打发伯多禄和若望去他们那里。伯多禄和若望一到，就为他们祈祷，使他们领受圣神，因为圣神还没有降临在任何人身上，他们只是因主耶稣的名受过洗。那时，宗徒便给他们覆手，他们就领受了圣神。 —— 上主的圣言
Philip went down to the city of Samaria
and proclaimed the Christ to them.
With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip
when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing.
For unclean spirits, crying out in a loud voice,
came out of many possessed people,
and many paralyzed or crippled people were cured.
There was great joy in that city.
Now when the apostles in Jerusalem
heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God,
they sent them Peter and John,
who went down and prayed for them,
that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
for it had not yet fallen upon any of them;
they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then they laid hands on them
and they received the Holy Spirit.

【答】普世大地，请向天主欢唿！
- 普世大地，请向天主欢唿！请歌颂祂圣名的光荣，请献给祂辉煌的赞颂。请你们向天主说：「祢的作为是何等惊人！」
- 普世都要朝拜祢，歌颂祢；全球也都要歌颂祢的圣名。请你们前来观看天主的作为；祂对世人所做的一切，实在令人敬畏。
- 祂曾使海洋干涸，使人徒步走过江河，叫我们因祂而喜乐。祂以自己的大能，永远统治万邦。
- 凡敬畏天主的人，请你们前来静听，我要叙述祂为我灵魂所做的一切。天主应受赞美，因祂从未拒绝我的哀祷，也从来没有从我身上，撤回祂的怜悯。
R: Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.
1. Shout joyfully to God, all the earth,
sing praise to the glory of his name;
proclaim his glorious praise.
Say to God, “How tremendous are your deeds!”
2. “Let all on earth worship and sing praise to you,
sing praise to your name!”
Come and see the works of God,
his tremendous deeds among the children of Adam.
3. He has changed the sea into dry land;
through the river they passed on foot;
therefore let us rejoice in him.
He rules by his might forever.
4. Hear now, all you who fear God, while I declare
what he has done for me.
Blessed be God who refused me not
my prayer or his kindness!
读经二
（就肉身来说，基督被处死了；但就神魂来说，祂却復活了。）
(恭读圣伯铎前书 1 Pt3:15-18)
亲爱的诸位：你们要在心里尊崇基督为主；如果有人询问你们心中所怀希望的理由，你们要时常准备答覆，且要以温和、以敬畏之心答覆。要保持纯洁的良心，好使那些诬告你们在基督内有良好品行的人，在他们诽谤你们的事上，感到羞愧。如果天主的旨意，要你们因行善而受苦，这总比因作恶而受苦更好，因为基督也曾一次为罪而死，且是义人代替不义的人，为将我们领到天主面前；就肉身来说，祂固然被处死了；但就神魂来说，祂却復活了。 —— 上主的圣言
Beloved:
Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts.
Always be ready to give an explanation
to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope,
but do it with gentleness and reverence,
keeping your conscience clear,
so that, when you are maligned,
those who defame your good conduct in Christ
may themselves be put to shame.
For it is better to suffer for doing good,
if that be the will of God, than for doing evil.
For Christ also suffered for sins once,
the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous,
that he might lead you to God.
Put to death in the flesh,
he was brought to life in the Spirit.

领：主说：谁爱我，必遵守我的话，我父也必爱他，我们要到他那里去，并要在他那里，作我们的居所。
Whoever loves me will keep my word, says the Lord,

那时候，耶稣对门徒说：「如果你们爱我，就要遵守我的命令；我也要求父，祂必会赐给你们另一位护慰者，使祂永远与你们同在。祂是世界所不能领受的真理之神，因为世界看不见祂，也不认识祂；你们却认识祂，因为祂与你们同在，并在你们内。「我决不留下你们做孤儿；我要回到你们这里来。不久以后，世界就再看不见我，你们却要看见我，因为我生活，你们也要生活。到那一天，你们便知道我在我父内，你们在我内，我也在你们内。接受我的命令而遵守的，便是爱我的人；谁爱我，我父也必爱他，我也要爱他，并将我自己显示给他。」 —— 基督的福音
I shall ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate Jesus said to his disciples:
Jesus said to his disciples:
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always,
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot accept,
because it neither sees nor knows him.
But you know him, because he remains with you,
and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
In a little while the world will no longer see me,
but you will see me, because I live and you will live.
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father
and you are in me and I in you.
Whoever has my commandments and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him and reveal myself to him.”
