那时候，梅瑟清晨起来，照上主的吩咐，手中拿着两块石版，上了西奈山。上主乘云降下，站在梅瑟身旁，宣告上主的名。上主从梅瑟面前经过时，大声宣告说：「我是上主，上主是慈悲宽仁的天主，不轻易发怒，富于慈爱和信实。」 梅瑟急忙俯伏在地朝拜说：「上主，如果我确实在祢眼中得宠，求祢与我们同行；这人民固然执拗，但是求祢宽恕我们的过犯和罪恶，让我们作祢的子民。」 —— 上主的圣言
Early in the morning Moses went up Mount Sinai
as the LORD had commanded him,
taking along the two stone tablets.
Having come down in a cloud, the LORD stood with Moses there
and proclaimed his name, “LORD.”
Thus the LORD passed before him and cried out,
“The LORD, the LORD, a merciful and gracious God,
slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity.”
Moses at once bowed down to the ground in worship.
Then he said, “If I find favor with you, O Lord,
do come along in our company.
This is indeed a stiff-necked people; yet pardon our wickedness and sins,
and receive us as your own.”

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled,
they were all in one place together.
And suddenly there came from the sky
a noise like a strong driving wind,
and it filled the entire house in which they were.
Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire,
which parted and came to rest on each one of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak in different tongues,
as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
Now there were devout Jews from every nation under heaven staying in Jerusalem.
At this sound, they gathered in a large crowd,
but they were confused
because each one heard them speaking in his own language.
They were astounded, and in amazement they asked,
“Are not all these people who are speaking Galileans?
Then how does each of us hear them in his native language?
We are Parthians, Medes, and Elamites,
inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia,
Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia,
Egypt and the districts of Libya near Cyrene,
as well as travelers from Rome,
both Jews and converts to Judaism, Cretans and Arabs,
yet we hear them speaking in our own tongues
of the mighty acts of God.”

Brothers and sisters:
No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit;
there are different forms of service but the same Lord;
there are different workings but the same God
who produces all of them in everyone.
To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit
is given for some benefit.
As a body is one though it has many parts,
and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body,
so also Christ.
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body,
whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free persons,
and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.

On the evening of that first day of the week,
when the doors were locked, where the disciples were,
for fear of the Jews,
Jesus came and stood in their midst
and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side.
The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you.
As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them,
and whose sins you retain are retained.”

In the first book, Theophilus,
I dealt with all that Jesus did and taught
until the day he was taken up,
after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit
to the apostles whom he had chosen.
He presented himself alive to them
by many proofs after he had suffered,
appearing to them during forty days
and speaking about the kingdom of God.
While meeting with them,
he enjoined them not to depart from Jerusalem,
but to wait for “the promise of the Father
about which you have heard me speak;
for John baptized with water,
but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
When they had gathered together they asked him,
“Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
He answered them, “It is not for you to know the times or seasons
that the Father has established by his own authority.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
throughout Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth.”
When he had said this, as they were looking on,
he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going,
suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them.
They said, “Men of Galilee,
why are you standing there looking at the sky?
This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven
will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
give you a Spirit of wisdom and revelation
resulting in knowledge of him.
May the eyes of your hearts be enlightened,
that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call,
what are the riches of glory
in his inheritance among the holy ones,
and what is the surpassing greatness of his power
for us who believe,
in accord with the exercise of his great might,
which he worked in Christ,

The eleven disciples went to Galilee,
to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but they doubted.

baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.

Philip went down to the city of Samaria
and proclaimed the Christ to them.
With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip
when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing.
For unclean spirits, crying out in a loud voice,
came out of many possessed people,
and many paralyzed or crippled people were cured.
There was great joy in that city.
Now when the apostles in Jerusalem
heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God,
they sent them Peter and John,
who went down and prayed for them,
that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
for it had not yet fallen upon any of them;
they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then they laid hands on them
and they received the Holy Spirit.

Beloved:
Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts.
Always be ready to give an explanation
to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope,
but do it with gentleness and reverence,
keeping your conscience clear,
so that, when you are maligned,
those who defame your good conduct in Christ
may themselves be put to shame.
For it is better to suffer for doing good,
if that be the will of God, than for doing evil.
For Christ also suffered for sins once,
the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous,
that he might lead you to God.
Put to death in the flesh,
he was brought to life in the Spirit.

I shall ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate Jesus said to his disciples:

But you know him, because he remains with you,

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father

Whoever has my commandments and observes them
is the one who loves me.

那时候，门徒日渐增多，说希腊话的犹太人，抱怨希伯来人，因为他们在日常的供给上，忽略了他们的寡妇。于是十二宗徒召集众门徒说：「让我们放弃传扬天主圣道的工作，而管理饮食，是不相宜的。 所以，弟兄们，请从你们中间选出七位有好声望，而且充满圣神和智慧的人，派他们担任这项职务。至于我们，我们要专心于祈祷和从事宣讲的工作。」 这番话得到全体的悦服，就选了德范─一位充满信德和圣神的人，还有斐理、普洛哥洛、尼加诺尔、提孟、帕尔默纳以及归依犹太教的安提约基人尼阁。 请他们站在宗徒面前；宗徒们祈祷以后，就给他们覆手。天主的道渐渐传开了，门徒的数目在耶路撒冷大为增加，连许多司祭也接受了信仰。 —— 上主的圣言

亲爱的诸位：你们来到主面前，祂是活石，虽然人们摈弃了祂，但是天主却拣选了祂、珍视祂。你们也像活石，用来建造一座属神的殿宇，成为一班圣洁的司祭，以奉献因耶稣基督而蒙天主悦纳的、属神的祭品。因为经上记载：「看哪，我要在熙雍安放一块精选的、宝贵的基石，信赖祂的人决不会蒙羞。」所以基督对你们信主的人来说，是一种荣幸；但是对那不信的人来说，祂就是「工人所摒弃的石头，现在却成了屋角的基石」；同时祂也是「一块绊脚石，和一块使人跌倒的磐石」。他们跌倒了，是因为不信从真道；他们这样的下场，是预定了的。然而，你们却是特选的种族，王家的司祭，圣洁的国民，属于主的子民，为使你们宣扬祂的伟大作为；是祂召叫了你们出离黑暗，进入祂奇妙的光明中。 —— 上主的圣言

领：主说：我是道路、真理、生命，除非经过我，谁也不能到父那里去。

那时候，耶稣对门徒们说：「你们不要心里烦乱；你们要信赖天主，也要信赖我。在我父的家里有许多住处。我去，是为给你们预备地方；要不然，我早就告诉你们了。我去给你们预备了地方以后，就必再来接你们到我那里去，好使我在那里，你们也在那里。我去的地方，你们知道那条路。」 多默说：「主啊！我们不知道祢往那里去，怎么会知道那条路呢？」耶稣回答说：「我是道路、真理、生命，除非经过我，谁也不能到父那里去。你们若认识我，也就必然认识我父；现在你们已认识祂，并且已经看见祂了。」斐理对祂说：「主啊！请把父显示给我们，我们就心满意足了。」耶稣回答说：「斐理！我和你们在一起这么长久了，你还不认识我吗？ 谁看见了我，就是看见了父；你怎么说：请把父显示给我们呢？你不信我在父内，父在我内吗？我对你们所说的话，不是凭我自己说的，而是住在我内的父，做祂自己的事。你们要相信我：我在父内，父也在我内；不然，也要因我所做的事而相信。我实实在在告诉你们：信我的人，我所做的事，他也要做，而且要做比这些事更大的，因为我往父那里去。」 —— 基督的福音

五旬节那天，伯多禄和十一位宗徒站起来，高声对群衆説：「以色列全家应该确切知道：你们所钉死的这位耶稣，天主已经立祂为主，立为默西亚了。」他们听见了这些话，觉得刺心，就对伯多禄和其他宗徒説：「诸位仁兄！我们该做什么呢：」
伯多禄告诉他们説：「你们悔改吧！每一个人都要因耶稣基督的名受洗，使你们的罪得到赦免，你们还要领受圣神的恩惠。因为这恩许是为了你们和你们的儿女，以及一切在远方的人，就是我们的上主天主所召叫的人。」
他还説了很多别的话来作见证，幷劝勉他们説：「你们要拯救自己，远离这邪恶的世代。」许多人接受了他的话，就都受了洗；那一天，信徒增加了大约三千人。』 —— 上主的圣言

「祂平生从没有犯过罪，从来没有说过欺骗人的话」；祂受辱骂，从不还口；祂受虐待，也不报復，只把自己交付给那公义的审判者；祂身悬十字架上。亲自承担了我们的罪过，使我们终止罪恶的生活，而度正义的生活；你们是因祂的创伤，才获得痊癒。

那时候，耶稣说：「我实实在在告诉你们：凡不由门进入羊栈，而由别处爬进去的，便是贼，是强盗。由门进去的，纔是羊的牧人。看门的给他开门，羊听从祂的声音；祂按名字唿唤自己的羊，并引领他们出来。当祂把羊放出来以后，就走在羊前面；羊也跟随祂，因为羊认得祂的声音。羊决不跟随陌生人，反而逃避祂，因为羊不认得陌生人的声音。」耶稣给他们讲了这个比喻。他们却不明白他所讲的是什么。于是，耶稣又对他们说：「我实实在在告诉你们：我是羊的门；凡在我以前来的，都是贼和强盗；羊没有听从他们。我就是门，谁若经过我进来，必得安全；可以进，可以出，可以找到草场。贼来，无非是为偷窃、杀害、毁灭；我来，却是为叫他们获得生命，且获得更丰富的生命。」 —— 基督的福音

五旬节那天，伯多禄同十一位宗徒站起来，高声向他们说：「犹太人，及所有居住在耶路撒冷的人！请你们留意，侧耳静听我的话！诸位以色列人！请听这些话：「纳匝肋人耶稣是天主用德能、奇蹟和征兆──即天主藉祂在你们当中所行的，一如你们所知道的──给你们证明了。祂照天主已定的计划和预知，被交付了。你们藉着不法者的手，钉祂在十字架上，杀死了祂。天主却解除了祂死亡的苦痛，使祂復活了，因为祂不可能受死亡的控制，因为达味指着祂说：『我常将上主置于我眼前；我决不动摇，因祂在我右边。因此，我心欢乐，我口歌唱，连我的肉身，也要安息于希望之中，因为祢决不会将我的灵魂，遗弃在阴府，也不会让祢的圣者，见到腐朽。祢要将生命的道路，指示给我，使我在你面前，获得圆满的喜乐。』「诸位仁人弟兄！容许我坦白对你们讲论圣祖达味的事罢！他死了，也埋葬了。他的坟墓，直到今天，还在我们这里。他既是先知，也知道天主曾以誓词，对他起了誓，要从他的子嗣中，选立一位来承继他的王位。他既预先看见了，就论及默西亚的復活，说：『祂没有被遗弃在阴府，祂的肉身也没有见到腐朽。』这位耶稣，天主使祂復活了；我们都是祂的见证人。祂被举扬到天主的右边，由父领受了所恩许的圣神。你们现今所见所闻的，就是他所倾注的圣神。」 —— 上主的圣言

亲爱的诸位：你们既称唿那不看情面，而只按每人的行为，施行审判的天主为父，就该怀着敬畏的心，度过你们这旅居的时期。该知道：你们不是用能朽坏的金银等物，而是用宝血，即无玷无瑕羔羊──基督的宝血，由你们祖传的虚妄生活中，被赎出来的。基督固然是在创世以前，就被预定了的，但在最末的时期，为了你们纔出现，为使你们因着祂，而相信那使祂由死者中復活，并赐祂光荣的天主；这样，你们的信德和望德，都同归于天主。 —— 上主的圣言

就在一周的第一天，耶稣的门徒中，有两个人，往一个村庄去，村名厄玛乌，离耶路撒冷约六十『斯塔狄』。他们彼此谈论所发生的一切事。正谈话讨论的时候，耶稣亲自走近他们，与他们同行。他们的眼睛却被蒙蔽住了，以致认不出祂来。耶稣对他们说：「你们走路，彼此谈论的是些什么事？」他们就站住，面带愁容。一个名叫克罗帕的，回答耶稣说：「在耶路撒冷作客的，独有祢不知道这几天在那里所发生的事吗？」耶稣问他们说：「什么事？」他们回答说：「就是有关纳匝肋人耶稣的事。祂本是一位先知，在天主及众百姓前，行事说话都有权力。我们的司祭长及首领，竟解送了祂，判了祂死罪，钉祂在十字架上。我们原指望祂就是那要拯救以色列的。可是……此外还有：这些事发生到今天，已是第三天了。我们中有几个妇女，惊吓了我们；她们清早到了坟墓那里，没有看见祂的遗体，回来说她们见了天使显现，天使说祂復活了。我们中也有几个，到过坟墓那里，所遇见的事，如同妇女们所说的一样，但是，没有看见祂。」耶稣于是对他们说：「唉！无知的人哪！为信先知们所说的一切话，你们的心竟是这般迟钝！默西亚不是必须受这些苦难，纔进入祂的光荣吗？」祂于是从梅瑟及众先知开始，把全部经书论及祂的话，都给他们解释了。当他们走近他们要去的村庄时，耶稣装作还要前行。他们强留祂说：「请同我们一起住下罢！因为快到晚上，天已垂暮了。」耶稣就进去，同他们住下。当耶稣与他们坐下吃饭的时候，就拿起饼来，祝福了，擘开，递给他们。他们的眼睛开了，这纔认出耶稣来；但耶稣却由他们眼前隐没了。他们就彼此说：「当祂在路上与我们谈话，给我们讲解圣经的时候，我们的心不是火热的吗？」他们遂即动身，返回耶路撒冷，遇见那十一门徒，及同他们一起的人，正聚在一起，彼此谈论说：「主真復活了，并显现给西满！」两人就把在路上的事，及在分饼时，他们怎样认出了耶稣，述说了一遍。 —— 基督的福音
