自使徒时代起，病人傅油圣事就为信徒带来了恩典和治癒。 透过圣油的傅抹和祈祷，这个圣事为那些需要帮助的人提供了健康、宽恕和灵性力量的特别祈祷。

尽管它曾被称为“临终圣事”，但病人傅油圣事并非只适用于那些临近生命尽头的人。 相反，它适用于任何患有重病的人，不论是急性或慢性病，或是因年长而体弱的长者。 然而，这个圣事并不适用于婴儿或七岁以下的儿童。

我们诚挚邀请您参加将于十二月十五日（星期日）在我们的国语弥撒中举行的病人傅油圣事集体庆祝仪式。 傅油仪式将由欧神父在廖执事讲道之后进行。

为了方便操作，我们恳请那些行动不便的教友坐在前排，以便欧神父顺利进行按手礼和傅油仪式。

让我们在十二月十五日齐聚一堂，以敞开的心接受并祈求天主的疗癒临在于我们中间。

Since the time of the Apostles, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick has brought grace and healing to the faithful. Through the anointing with oil and prayer, this sacrament offers a special prayer for health, forgiveness, and spiritual strength to those in need.

While it was once referred to as “Last Rites,” the Anointing of the Sick is not only for those nearing the end of life. Rather, it is for anyone suffering from serious illness, whether acute or chronic, or those experiencing the frailty of advanced age. This sacrament, however, is not given to infants or children under the age of 7.

We warmly invite you to join our communal celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick on Sunday, December 15, at our 3PM Mandarin Mass. The Rite of Anointing will take place after the homily.

To assist with logistics, we kindly ask that those with mobility challenges sit in the front rows, so that the laying on of hands and anointing may be done smoothly.

Let us gather on December 15 with open hearts to receive and pray for God’s healing presence among us.
